Gotta admit, this isn't what I was hoping for when I heard co-op, but man, still really cool for gamer parents with younger kids.

I think the best part was the guy saying its graphics were not up to par with the 360 or the PS3. That was old news before these systems even launched.

And the Wii remote arrangement is not the least bit awkward.

How is it that this guy just now found the Mario games silly? He first appeared in a game to battle a Guerrilla that threw barrels at him. At what point did the Mario games make sense at all?

So is this a Mario Galaxy review or Ratchet and Clank ad?

Are we going to see any Halo 3 reviews that try to sell us Metroid Prime 3?

I honestly haven't played too far into this yet, but as far as I can tell its quite awesome and totally unique, which are both things I absolutely love. As far as the review goes from the sony person, I have always disliked the playstation (1,2 or 3 though I haven't played a 3 yet) and I'd be happy to tell that guy off if I ever met him. Ok, maybe my reaction is a bit harsh, but eh, I'm a Nintendo fan tried and tested or something like that.

Galaxies was a great game. I've played through the "story" of the game (still working on getting all the stars). The fights ramped up reasonably as the levels progressed. Albeit some of the levels were amazingly annoying when they got crazy specialized (when you get all 3 green stars to unlock the special levels).

It had some nice aspects that kept it fresh for both younger and older audiences (eg the story book for younger and the challenging levels for older). The fact that you can play Luigi if you get all the stars for a "hard" mode is pretty sweet. Toad had a much more "active" role in the game than N64's so that was also nice to see.

The camera is crazy trippy at first--to the point of being motion sick if you're watching or playing for a while. The random gravity changes can be annoying when you're expecting to be able to jump off one thing and end up on the bottom of something else only to find out that the platform you were shooting for doesn't work that way. There are a few collision issues in the "green star" levels that can be frustrating (if you're not being EXTREMELY careful). The boss fights are rather similar (all the Bowser and Bowser Jr. fights just expand on the previous fight) but that doesn't mean they're still not entertaining--I just like a bit more variation.

So it was a great game, and if you have a Wii and HAVEN'T gotten this game yet, you really should. It's worth the cash.

This game just doesnt even make sense. How can you put Sonic in a race with Mario? It completely belittles the character of who Sonic is. Mario is a plumber, Sonic is a ridiculously fast hedge hog. They dont go together.
